Temporary Trail and Area Closures at Kaloko-Honokōhau

Temporary trail and area closures at Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park will provide public safety during helicopter operations to remove invasive, non-native vegetation.

  • Friday, March 31: Kaloko Road, Kaloko Parking and Picnic Area
  • Monday, April 3: Hale Ho‘okipa Visitor Center and Parking Area and Mauka/Makai Trail
  • Monday, April 10: Kaloko Road, Kaloko Parking and Picnic Area
  • Friday, April 21: Kaloko Road, Kaloko Parking and Picnic Area and Sections of Māmalahoa Trail between Hu‘ehu‘e Trail and Kohanaiki boundary

All closures will be from 6 to 10 a.m.
