Expect dry trade wind weather just light windward showers. Trades are forecast to increase starting late Friday, along with a slight increase in cloud cover and shower activity.

We have northeast winds today around 15 mph. High temperatures are forecast from 81° to 86°. Partly sunny skies with scattered showers for windward spots. The Kona side will be mostly sunny to start with mostly cloudy skies and isolated showers in the afternoon. Locally hazy skies are forecast as well.

Tonight 

Northeast winds are forecast around 15 mph. Mostly cloudy skies are expected for Hawaii County with scattered windward showers and clearing skies for the Kona side overnight. Low temperatures from 71° to 76°.
