Markam Francis Larrua
November 21, 1954 – February 25, 2017
Markam Francis Larrua, 62, of Waikoloa, Hawaiʻi, was born in Honolulu on Nov. 21, 1954, and passed away at home on Feb. 25, 2017 in Waikoloa.
Markam was the co-founder and pastor of Abundant Life Ministries in Waikoloa and the non-profit More Than Enough Ministries, and was a musician.
He is survived wife Lani; sons Mark (Karlene) Larrua of Brooklyn, New York; Matthew (Liane West) Larrua of Waikoloa; Joshua (Asia) Larrua of Waikoloa; mother Enid Bicoy Larrua of Kāheʻohe, Hawaiʻi; sisters April Gillia of Honolulu; Tracy Larrua of Kāheʻohe, Hawaiʻi; and ten grandchildren.
Memorial services are planned for Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 68-3522 Malina St, Waikoloa, HI 96738. The family requests to bring a dish to share (if able).

Rose Candido Fernandez, 95, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on March 6, 2017, at Hale Makua Kahului. She was born on March 10, 1921, on Maui.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Norman’s Mortuary; prayer service will begin at 10 a.m.; burial will follow, 11 a.m., at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao.
Rose was a retired Sales Associate at Ben Franklin. She was predeceased by her husband, John Fernandez. She is survived by her son, Alan (Diane) Fernandez; daughter, Lorine (Jerry) Rayburn; sister, Helen Pontes; 5 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Rodolfo “Cosme” Tamayo Panlasigui
September 28, 1941 – March 3, 2017
Rodolfo “Cosme” Tamayo Panlasigui, 75, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on March 3, 2017, at Hale Makua Kahului. He was born on Sept. 28, 1941, in the Philippines.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Norman’s Mortuary; prayer service will begin at noon; burial will follow, 2 p.m., at Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery in Ha‘ikū.
Rudy was a retired Field Laborer at Pioneer Mill, and Houseman at Hyatt Regency. He is survived by his son, Jay (Crystal) Panlasigui; daughter, Jennifer (Cyrus) Panlasigui; sisters, Esperanza and Santiaga of the Philippines, Carmen Septimo; and grandchildren, Ryzr and Persuasion.
Arsenio Domingo Jose, Sr.
September 24, 1936 – February 24, 2017
Arsenio Domingo Jose, Sr., 80, of Wailuku, passed away on Feb. 24, 2017 at his home. He was born in the Philippines on Sept. 24, 1936.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Norman’s Mortuary, service will begin at 7 p.m.
Visitation will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017, at Norman’s Mortuary, service at 9 a.m., and burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
Arsenio worked as a landscaper at the Wailea “Blue” Golf Course from which he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Hermanda R. Jose; children, Vello (Benigna) Jose, Eva (Rogelio) Acoba, Anabel (Conrado) Rocetes, Robert (Adela) Jose, Carlo (Novalyn) Jose, Sandra (Michael) Minicky, Arsenio Jose Jr., Armando Jose, and Roger Jose; siblings, Faustino Jose, Melendrina Villa, Agripino Jose, Brian Jose, and Gloria Paet; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Ella Geraldine Cove
September 23, 1931 – February 21, 2017
Ella Geraldine Cove, 85, of Kīhei, passed away on Feb. 21, 2017 at her home. She was born on Sept. 23, 1931 in Wailuku.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Ballard Family Mortuary. Burial will be on Monday, March 27, 2017, 9 a.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
Ella was the last survivor of 15 children. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Cova; her granddaughter, Jolene Cova; and her parents, Frank and Rebecca Akina.
She is survived by her daughters, Geri Harmon, Deborah (Allen) Diego, Marlene (John “Bully”)) Torres, and Rebecca Cova; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
