KAPA Hawaiian FM morning personalities Jaz and Ka’ea welcomed Matagi to the KAPA Cafe.
Matagi is a Hawaiian, Polynesian and Island contemporary band from Maui. The trio consists of 3 friends: Marvin Tevaga, Kalani Miles and Kimo Brehm Jr. The word Matagi in Samoan means “wind”, because like the wind, their music genre changes accordingly to their audience. Their debut album Valley Isle is out now, and is on Mele.com’s Top 10.
