Looking Ahead

The disturbance that brought us some active weather yesterday is to the north of Kauai and expected to continue moving away from the state today. Spotty heavy showers are possible today from a trailing band of moisture with improving conditions tonight through Friday night. A cold front is forecast for this weekend increasing the chance for showers once again.

We have southwest winds today around 15 mph. High temperatures are forecast from 81° to 86°. Mostly cloudy skies are expected for Hawaii County with scattered showers. Volcanic haze is expected.
