University of Hawai`i at Hilo Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m.

They Rose at Dawn is a solo work depicting women as carriers of ritual.

A five-piece Carnatic musical ensemble accompanies Aparna Ramaswamy as she explores the spontaneous interplay between music and movement and the dynamic contours created by the artists.

Reserved seating presale tickets are $30 for general admission, $25 discounted and $15 for UH Hilo/Hawai‘i CC students (with a valid student ID) and for children up to age 17. At the door, tickets are $35, $30 and $20 respectively.
