Makana

KAPA Hawaiian FM morning personalities Jaz and Ka’ea welcomed Makana to the KAPA Cafe.

Makana is an internationally acclaimed guitarist, singer, composer and activist from Hawaii. He learned to play the ukulele and slack key at a young age, and was performing professionally by the age of fourteen. Makana has been featured on three Grammy-nominated albums and contributed to both Hawaiian Slack Key Kings Vol. I and II.
