The National Weather Service has extended the current High Surf Warning for the shores of North Kona, Kohala, Hamakua and Puna through tomorrow morning.

A High Surf Warning means there is a significant threat to life and property.

Surf as high as 25 feet for north shores and 15 feet for east and west facing shores is forecasted.

You are advised to exercise caution due to the unpredictability of huge swells and dangerous surf.

Oceanfront residents and beachgoers along the affected shores are advised to be on the alert for possible high and dangerous surf which may lead to beach and road closures.
