Looking Ahead
Light to moderate trade winds are expected through Thursday. Winds are expected to weaken Friday as a cold front approaches from the northwest. The cold front is forecast to move down the island chain this weekend bringing showers mainly for windward and mauka spots and breezy winds. Showers will be most widespread through Tuesday as a disturbance high in the atmosphere passes overhead. Better conditions are expected Wednesday through Saturday before another round of unsettled weather is forecast.

We have northeast winds today from 15 to 20 mph with higher gusts. High temperatures are forecast from 78° to 83°. Mostly cloudy skies are forecast with frequent showers for windward and mauka spots. Partly sunny skies for the Kona side with some clouds building in the afternoon and scattered showers.
