Kona Bookstore Hosting Keiki Storytime

Kona Stories Book Store is teaming up with the American Association of University Women (AAUW) to host keiki storytime at the Keauhou Shopping Center on Jan. 25 at 10:30 a.m.

The event is tailored for children ages 3 to 7 years old and will feature pirate-themed stories, crafts and snacks.

Some of the books will include The Pirate Cruncher, Are Pirates Polite? and How to be a Pirate.

Storytime will be held in the courtyard of the Keauhou Shopping center on the KTA side. RSVP is necessary and interested parents can call (808) 324-0350 for more information or to reserve a spot.

There is a $5 participation fee and space is limited to 24 children. Organizers ask that participants arrive 10 minutes early to check in at the Kona Stories Book Store.

The supporting partner for keiki storytime, AAUW, works for positive social change and has championed lifelong education and equal rights for women and girls since 1881.
