KAPA Hawaiian FM morning personalities Jaz and Ka’ea welcomed Ku’ulei Keawekane to the KAPA Cafe.
Ku’ulei is a musician that born and raised in Hilo. She is currently going to school for Hawaiian studies. Ku’ulei talks about her song Mele No Ka Puni Lilelile, which was inspired by a 124-year-old song she came across in a 1893 newspaper article.
