UPDATE: Jan. 10

The Hawai’i Police Department reports that Mathilda Salinas, 74, who was reported as missing in the Ali’i Drive area of downtown Kailua-Kona had been located at about 5 p.m. yesterday.

The Hawai’i Police Department thanks the public for their assistance in locating Salinas.

The Hawai’i Police Department requests the public’s assistance in locating a missing elderly woman.

Mathilda Salinas, 74, was last seen in the Kona Market Place off of Ali’i Drive at about 2 p.m. today.

Salinas was last seen wearing a pink, yellow and white long sleeve top with black pants.

She is approximately 5’0″ tall  and weighs about 165 pounds.

She has short gray hair and has a tan complexion.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
