Hawaiian Airlines to Celebrate New Haneda to Kona Service

Hawaiian Airlines will host its inaugural flight from Haneda Airport to Kona International on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

It will be the first international flight arriving on the Kona Coast since 2010.

Gov. David Ige, U.S. Sen. Mazie Hirono, Hawai‘i Mayor Harry Kim and Hawaiian Airlines president and CEO Mark Dunkerley will be in attendance to welcome the airlines inaugural flight from Japan to Hawai’i.

The reception will begin at 11:15 with the program starting at 11:50 a.m.

HA Flight 852 is scheduled to arrive shortly after noon at Kona International Airport.
