Small SW Swell Shows Today, NW Fading

Hilo side: Wave heights are forecast shoulder high to slightly overhead today for the best breaks.
Kona side: Wave heights are expected to be knee/waist high and topping out at tummy/chest high at the best breaks.
South: Wave heights are expected to be knee/waist high and topping out at tummy/chest high at the best breaks. Spots that are more open to the northwest wrap could get up to slightly overhead on the sets.
Our current northwest is expected to continue fading today. Another swell is forecast to build on December 7th and into December 8th.
A small southwest swell is expected to show Monday and Tuesday up to knee/waist high and inconsistent.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
