Looking Ahead
Locally windy trade winds will keep blowing over the islands through Thursday while a disturbance high in the atmosphere is forecast to keep conditions unstable. The trades are expected to keep windward areas wet through Thursday, pushing some showers into leeward spots from time to time. A period of southeast winds and wet weather are expected through the weekend.

Mostly cloudy for windward spots with showers likely. Hazy for the Kona side with clear skies in the morning and building clouds in the afternoon and scattered showers. Slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms. High temperatures from 79° to 84°. Winds will be out of the northeast from 20 to 35 mph, gusting to 50 mph.
