lions-parade-and-keiki-cropThe 12th annual Waikoloa Christmas parade, hosted by the Waikoloa Lions Club, and Keiki Festival, sponsored by the Waikoloa Village Association, are scheduled for Dec. 10, 2016.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. with the Keiki Festival to follow at Waikoloa School.

The parade begins on Paniolo Avenue at the intersection of Waikoloa Road and ends at the Waikoloa School, where the Keiki Festival begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m.

The Keiki Festival includes free Santa photos, and free activities with face painting, airbrush tattoos, balloon twisting, games and prizes. There’s also crafters and food! This year includes a doggie parade, crowning the Snow Queen or King winner of our college scholarship, prizes for the best float,

This year includes a doggie parade, crowning the Snow Queen or King winner of the Lions’ college scholarship, prizes for the best-decorated keiki bike, and a drawing for a bicycle and helmet.

Paniolo Avenue will be closed to traffic from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Dec. 10.
