KS Graduate Degree Scholarship Apps Online
Applications for Kamehameha Schools’ ʻImi Naʻauao graduate degree scholarships for the 2017-18 school year, are now available online through the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation.
The deadline to apply is Jan. 31, 2017.
The ʻImi Naʻauao scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for graduate students. The scholarship is limited to two years of awarding per recipient, regardless of degree progression.
Recipients must be residents of the state of Hawaiʻi, attend an accredited institution within the United States and be a graduate (post baccalaureate) degree-seeking student.
They must carry a minimum GPA of 3.0, attain two letters of recommendation and submit a curriculum vitae that highlights academic achievements, leadership experiences, community service/civic involvement and honors and awards.
If awarded, recipients would be required to perform a total of 50 community service hours by December and 100 community service hours by July.
Preference is given for previous year’s recipients who have not already received the maximum funding from KS.
