NOAA wind gust map for Friday, Oct. 21, 5 a.m.

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Wind Advisory at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, in effect until 9 p.m. today, and from 6 am. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 30 mph or gusts of at least 50 mph are expected.

Winds are coming from the northeast at 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph.

Strong wind gusts will cause loose objects to blow around, possibley resulting in downed tree branches.

Localized power outages are possible.

Driving high-profile vehicles may become difficult.
