sos-11x17-finalTony Ruivivar and Bert Sagum, founding members Hawai‘i’s Society of Seven, will return to the Grand Naniloa Hotel’s newly renovated Willie K Crown Room on Saturday, Oct. 22. The group will present two shows: 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

“It’s the first time we’ll be doing a show on the Big Island for a long time,” SOS leader Ruivivar said,. “We are bringing a sensational song stylist, Ms. Lhey Bella, as our special guest star. She sounds like Whitney Houston and Billie Holiday all rolled into one.”

“We’re not only going to put on a fantastic show but are looking forward to seeing our many friends after such a long absence,” added Sagum. “Of course, we are going to include our trademark impressions and poke fun at famous celebrities. Some of the skits we do will have you rolling in the aisles.”

Longtime SOS members Hoku Low (bass, vocals, trumpet) and Wayne Wakai (keyboards, sax, guitar, vocals) will be joined by outstanding lead singer Michael Laygo and instrumentalists Roy Venturina (keyboards) and Jun Estanislau (drums).
