The Department of Water Supply will hold a public informational meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, to present a draft of the Hawai‘i County Water Use and Development Plan Update – Phase 2 (Update), regarding the Keauhou Aquifer System.

The meeting will be at the West Hawai‘i Civic Center, Community Hale (Building G) in Kailua-Kona.

Project consultant Fukunaga & Associates Inc. and DWS staff will present the update.

The update is available online at www.hawaiidws.org: Click on “About the Water,” then click on “Draft Water Use and Development Plan Update – Phase 2, Keauhou Aquifer System.”

Comments or questions from the public are welcome.
