Hilo side: Light and variable northeast winds with smooth seas, increasing later on the day.

Kona side: SSW swell with knee-waist-chest high waves, occasionally showing a bigger set up to shoulder high during favorable tides at top spots.

South: Surf heights are expected around knee-chest+ high today

Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
