Michael Fujimoto Joins Parker Ranch Board

Michael “Mike” Fujimoto has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Parker Ranch Inc.

He will replace E. Kyle Datta, who is leaving the board after four years of service.

“We are very grateful for Kyle’s contribution, especially in connection with assisting in the development of our local beef strategy and the creation of Paniolo Cattle Company, now one of the largest grass-fed beef operations in the US,” said Parker Ranch President and CEO Dutch Kuyper.

Datta is a founding partner of Ulupono Initiative, which invests in making Hawai‘i more sustainable.

Fujimoto is the chairman and CEO of HPM Building Supply. HPM has a 95-year history of building in Hawai‘i and employs over 300 workers in five locations on the Big Island, one on O‘ahu, and two on Kaua‘i.

Fujimoto is also a member of numerous boards of directors, including First Hawaiian Bank.

Fujimoto joins Dutch Kuyper, Pete Moynahan, Mike Gibson, Tim Johns, Jimmy Greenwell and Robby Hind on the Parker Ranch Inc. Board of Directors.

Parker Ranch Inc. is the for-profit corporation that is responsible for managing cattle operations and real property development activities on behalf of Parker Ranch Foundation Trust. It was formed in 1995 to manage the for-profit activities of Parker Ranch.

Parker Ranch was established in 1847 and covers 130,000 acres on the Big Island of Hawai‘i. It is one of the largest and oldest cattle ranches in the state.
