Expectant mothers coming to North Hawai‘i Community Hospital for medical appointments and delivery will now find the several parking spaces specifically designated for expectant mothers.

“Pregnant women often face challenges even with the most everyday things like walking across a parking lot,” said Kehau Kealoha, Family Birthing Unit manager. “These reserved spaces close to our entrances will make life a little easier for our expectant mothers and their families.”

Almost 500 babies are delivered at North Hawai‘i Community Hospital each year.
