A Small Craft Advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Friday for the ʻAlenuihāhā channel and Big Island southeast and windward waters for northeast to east winds up to 25 knots or more and seas of 5 to 8 feet.

Moderate to breezy trade wind flow is expected to stay in place through the work week. Relatively dry and stable trade wind conditions will continue through Friday, with wetter trade wind weather pattern expected this weekend into early next week.
Mostly sunny skies with scattered showers for windward areas in the morning and a drying trend through the day. Hazy skies for the Kona side with isolated afternoon showers. High temperatures from 85° to 92°. Winds will be northeasterly from 15 to 25 mph, gusting to 40 mph.
