Military convoys were originally scheduled to travel from Kawaihae Harbor to Pohakuloa Training Area, July 11 and 12.

Due to delays, the convoy dates will now include July 13 and 14.

July 10, 2 p.m.

O‘ahu-based service members are scheduled to convoy from Kawaihae Harbor to Pōhakuloa Training Area, beginning Monday, July 11.

The scheduled convoy times are from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., July 11 and 12 and July 15 through 17.

Convoys will use Akoni Pule Corridor, Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway, Waikoloa Road, Mamalahoa Highway and the Daniel K. Inouye Highway.

Military police will escort the convoys.

The PTA Department of Army police are working closely with local authorities and military units to coordinate this activity in support of unit training and readiness.
