Moderate trade winds are expected to stay in place through early next week. Clouds and showers should focus primarily over windward and mauka areas, but an occasional shower will drift into leeward areas mainly during the overnight and early morning hours.
Passing clouds and showers today for windward spots. Mostly sunny skies in the morning for the Kona side with mostly clouds skies in the afternoon and a chance of showers or South Kona. Winds are from 10 to 15 mph out of the northeast with afternoon sea breeze for the Kona side. High temperatures from 82° to 88°.
