HPD Has New Photo of Missing Honoka‘a Resident

Hawaiʻi Island police have obtained a new photo of 48-year-old Michael Kalla, who was reported missing last year.
He was last seen Oct. 5, 2015, in Kalapana. His last known address was in Honoka‘a.
He is described as 6-foot-1, 200 pounds and muscular with balding dark blond hair, green eyes and a scar under his chin.
Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300. Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
