Looking Ahead
Moderate trade winds are expected through Sunday. The trades will then re-strengthen to windy levels for much of next week. Clouds and showers will focus mainly over windward and mauka areas, although the trades will deliver showers to leeward areas from time to time. Shower coverage and intensity is expected to increase Sunday through Tuesday as a disturbance passes over the islands.
Today & Sunday
We expect mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers for windward spots in the morning and showers likely in the afternoon. Partly cloudy morning for the Kona side with afternoon scattered showers and mostly cloudy skies. Hazy conditions are expected as well. Winds are northeast around 15 mph with higher gusts. High temperatures from 82° to 87°. On Sunday, there is a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon with occasional windward showers and afternoon showers likely for the Kona side. Winds will be out of the east around 15 mph.

Northeast winds tonight around 15 mph. Mostly cloudy skies with showers likely for windward spots tonight. Skies should clear as the night goes on for lee areas with scattered showers in the evening. Low temperatures from 69° to 74°.
