Moderate to breezy trade winds are forecast for the next couple of days. Moisture associated with a front is expected to move over the islands through Wednesday. While clouds and showers will be most frequent over windward areas, a few showers will spread to leeward areas from time to time. Trade winds should diminish by the end of the week, with light and variable winds expected again next weekend.
We expect partly sunny skies and isolated showers for windward spots today. The Kona side should be mostly sunny in the morning with mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon and scattered showers over mauka spots. Hazy skies are expected. Winds are variable around 5 to 15 mph with local sea breezes developing. High temperatures from 82° to 87°.
