Public Meeting on Lanakila Housing Scheduled

A public review and comment period on the Draft Removal Action Report for the cleanup of soil arsenic, lead, and termiticides in soil at the Hawai’i Public Authority’s Lanakila Public Housing project site in Hilo is open.

In addition, a public meeting is scheduled at the Lanakila Community Center on Thursday, May 26 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting to learn about cleanup options proposed and recommended for the site, and to make comments on the proposed options.
