Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau to Temporarily Close 1871 Trail

Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park will close its 1871 Trail on Thursday, May 19.

The closure will run from the coastal junction to the park’s south boundary and last from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Park officials say the closure is to service operational needs.
