Looking Ahead
Lighter trades are expected for the next few days, with daytime sea breezes and nighttime land breezes affecting more areas. Moisture from an old frontal boundary near the Big Island will slowly move northward this weekend. The combination of this moisture and the disturbance aloft will bring a chance for mainly afternoon and evening showers to the smaller islands as we head into the weekend. Trades are expected to return early next week.
Today
We expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with windward showers in the morning and scattered showers in the afternoon for leeward areas and Kau. Variable winds are forecast up to 15 mph. High temperatures from 80° to 85° and sticky.
