Kahalu’u Beach Park will close next Wednesday and Thursday as tree trimming work is performed.

The Hawai’i County Department of Parks and Recreation says the closure is necessary so county crews may trim trees and remove debris without creating a safety hazard for park patrons.

Kahalu’u is anticipated to reopen at 6 a.m. on Friday, May 20.
