Looking Ahead
Moderate trade winds are expected through Wednesday. Lingering moisture over the windward waters will provide clouds and showers to the state, mainly over windward areas under the trade winds. Winds will ease a bit by Thursday into the weekend. An disturbance high in the atmosphere is forecasted to pass over the state by the weekend and could bring enhanced showers to the islands. Stronger trades are expected to return early next week.

We expect mostly cloudy skies with numerous windward showers. The Kona side will be partly sunny to start with building clouds and scattered afternoon showers. Variable winds are forecast up to 15 mph. High temperatures from 79° to 85°.

East winds are expected around15 mph. Mostly cloudy skies are forecast with numerous windward showers. For the Kona side mostly cloudy with isolated showers to start and clearing skies as the night goes on. Low temperatures from 67° to 72°.
