Looking Ahead
A band of moisture associated with a dissipating front will continue to affect mainly windward portions of Maui county and the Big Island through much of the week, with short term flooding concerns focused on Maui. Trade winds will ease later in the week, while lingering moisture over the eastern end of the state may possibly spread west.

We expect partly sunny skies with scattered showers. The Kona side will be mostly sunny to start with building clouds and isolated afternoon showers. East winds are forecast around 15 mph. High temperatures from 80° to 85°.
