Mamalahoa Highway Roadway Improvement Project Completed

The Mamalahoa Highway Roadway Improvement Project between Kamamalu Street and Iona Court in Waimea has been completed.

Hawai’i County Department of Public Works officials and contractor Jas. W. Glover Ltd. announced the completion Thursday afternoon.

Reconstruction, subgrade, and resurfacing of the roadway were included in the project, along with water lateral adjustments and other related improvements.

DPW officials say the majority of the work was completed at night and the project was completed on time and within budget.
