A traffic accident in West Hawai’i has caused a single-lane closure from Queen Kaahumanu Highway onto Kealakehe Parkway.

The Hawai’i Police Department reports that the right lane is anticipated to remain closed for the next several hours as traffic investigators investigate the incident.

Motorists who need to travel on Kealakehe Parkway from Queen Kaahumanu Highway are asked to use alternate routes.
