By the end of 2016, some of Hawai’i’s favorite canned meat products will have a new taste.
Hormel announced on Wednesday that a selection of the company’s canned meat products will undergo a tweak in ingredients.
According to a story published by the Associated Press, Hormel officials said that the changes would be in its Spam Lite and Spam Less Sodium products; as well as its Hormel chili products and Dinty Moore beef stew.
Hawai’i spam lovers shouldn’t fret as the Spam Classic, which contains six ingredients, will not change.
Hormel spokesperson Rick Williamson told the AP that it wants to use “simple, familiar ingredients that consumers know.”
