Kona Hydrant Flow Test Slated for Thursday

fire hydrantA fire hydrant flow test will be conducted by the Department of Water Supply on Thursday, April 14 between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.

The test will take place on Luhia Street and could impact consumers along the roadway between Makala Boulevard and Kaiwi Street, as well as those between Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway and Ma’a Street, including Loloku Street.

Testing may result in slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours.

Customers should refrain from washing clothing and should prepare for their drinking needs by storing water.
