Herbert Shipman Park pavilion in Kea’au and Kurtistown Park pavilion will both close on Thursday, April 14.

The temporary closures are a result of scheduled fumigation treatments, according to the Hawai’i County Department of Parks and Recreation.

Ball fields, outdoor athletic courts, and parking areas within each of the parks will remain open during the treatments.
