Public Meeting on Keauhou Bay Offshore Moorings Project DEA Scheduled

The Department of Land and Natural Resources will hold a public meeting on the Keauhou Bay Offshore Moorings project on Friday, April 15.
DLNR’s Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation will discuss the Draft Environmental Assessment for the proposed project from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kealakehe High School cafeteria.
The project includes the replacement of nine unpermitted offshore moorings, up to 16 new permitted offshore moorings as well as two proposed alternatives. During the meeting, DOBOR personnel will discuss the proposed alternatives introduced in the DEA.
Members of the public are encouraged to provide input and feedback.
