No Tsunami Threat Following 6.9M Vanuatu Earthquake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says there is no tsunami threat to Hawai’i following a 6.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Vanuatu.
According to PTWC, the earthquake occurred Tuesday at 9:04 p.m. Hawai’i time.
United States Geological Survey officials say the earthquake was located 63 miles west of Sola, Vanuatu; 118 miles north-northwest of Luganville, Vanuatu; 287 miles north-northwest of Port-Vila, Vanuatu; 484 miles north of We, New Caledonia; and 545 miles southeast of Honiara, Solomon Islands.
