Traffic Signal Work Scheduled in Kona Tuesday, Wednesday

The Department of Public Works Traffic Division will work on traffic signals in West Hawai’i on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Work will be completed between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Kealakehe Parkway and Ane Keohokalole Highway intersection, located near the West Hawai’i Civic Center.
Upgrades will include the installation of wireless vehicle detection sensors in the roadway at all four approaches, as well as the programming of the traffic signals to optimize traffic flow.
During the work, the roadway will remain open.
Motorists in the area should anticipate delays.
