Eighteen young Big Island golfers and several others from across the state participated in the Hawai’i State Junior Golf Association’s 14 and Under Junior Tour Series event, held Saturday and Sunday at Mauna Lani Resort’s North Course.

The weekend’s tournament was the third of four events in the 14 and Under JTS series, with the final tournament being held later this month on Oahu.

Hilo’s Noah Otani was the top finisher in Boys 7-10 division, finishing with a two round score of +19. Jake Otani, also from Hilo, rounded out the three-person division with a score of +57.

Another Hilo golfer, Chanelle Hwang, shared the top spot in the Girls 11-12 division with Haiku’s Summer Wong. Both finished with an overall score of +20.
