Kona Man Sought on Probation Violation, for Questioning

Police are looking for a 26-year-old man who is wanted for a probation violation.

Nicholas Volpa is also being sought for questioning in connection to financial crimes that stem from a burglary.

The Hawai’i Police Department describes Volpa, who is from Kailua-Kona, as 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Volpa should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311, or contact Detective Carrie Akina directly by calling 326-4646, extension 277, or e-mailing carrie.akina@hawaiicounty.gov.

Individuals who prefer to remain anonymous should call the Big Island Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
