The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce’s annual luncheon will be held at the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay on Tuesday, April 5.

KKCC’s 2016 event will provide the community with the opportunity to meet with Hawai’i County Mayor Billy Kenoi and select cabinet members to discuss both opportunities and challenges to the economy in West Hawai’i.

Those in attendance will have lunch with specific departments and pose questions to county officials. Items for discussion may include an update on the Honokohau Harbor, housing and homelessness, healthcare, and opportunities for economic development.

Following the lunch, new and existing KKCC businesses will be available at the Chamber’s annual Business Expo, immediately before and after the luncheon, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The KKCC luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. General admission is $65 and $55 for Chamber and Rotary members.

Registration is required in advance by visiting the KKCC website or calling the Chamber office at 329-1758.
