South Kona Hydrant Flow Test Scheduled

A fire hydrant flow test in South Kona may impact water supply to customers along Konawaena High School Road and Onouli Uka Road on Wednesday.

The flow test will be conducted between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

According to the Department of Water Supply, customers may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test.

Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothing and to store a container of water for drinking needs until water service is restored to normal.
