Locally strong gusts are possible during this time especially over and downwind of higher terrain and to the far east and west points of each island. If you have loose outdoor objects, consider securing them before the winds pick up.
A Small Craft Advisory is posted for all island waters through 6 a.m Thursday. This advisory may be extended if conditions persist.

Looking Ahead
A weak cold front will push across the state into Wednesday. Strong high pressure building to the northwest of the state behind the front will bring cool and gusty northerly winds over the islands through Thursday. Breezy trade wind weather is expected from Friday through the weekend. Winds will veer to the southeast and south early next week, with an increasing chance of showers.

Today we expect partly sunny skies with scattered morning showers. In the afternoon, mostly cloudy skies are forecast with numerous windward showers and scattered leeward showers. North winds are forecast from 15 to 20 mph. High temperatures from 80° to 85°.
