Police Investigate Found Waipio Body as Murder

A murder investigation has been opened in connection to a body located in Waipio Valley last Thursday.

The case was initially classified by police as a coroner’s inquest.

HPD has identified the victim’s identity publicly as Thaine Ulysses Lucifer Price of Honoka’a. On Friday, authorities knew the man’s identity but withheld the information pending notification of kin.

The investigation into the incident continues, according to police.
