UPDATE: Early Morning Closure of Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway

Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway in North Kona was closed for several hours early this morning as result of a traffic accident.
The Hawai’i Police Department announced the closure at 1:47 a.m., noting that the highway was closed near the 81 mile marker post.
Traffic investigators were on scene to investigate the incident before reopening the roadway just after 6 a.m. this morning.
